Under the name Enlightened Design the exposition showcases five distinctive Dutch design studios: Atelier Arnout Visser, Bernotat&Co, Studio Çedille Design, a-LEX, and By Marc de Groot. A feast for the eye in the best possible setting, with pitch-black, intimate spaces that are in stark contrast with the light objects on show and the buzz of the trade show that surrounds them.
Enlightened Design imm cologne is the follow-up to two successful design shows during the London Design Festival in 2016 and 2017. Connecting the Dots brings the intimate setting of the exhibitions in London to the international design fair in Germany. The works of the five studios celebrate diversity in light design, each adding a distinctive signature. Atelier Arnout Visser presents Big Mushrooms, Bernotat&Co presents Radiolaria Lights, Studio Çedille Design presents Light ZUID, a-LEX presents LAMP ovals and angles, and by Marc de Groot presents Fractal.
