Brand Dialogue teams up with Brands of Desire

Dutch brand consultancy Brand Dialogue, located in Mumbai and Amsterdam, has joined operations with Brands of Desire, a strategic brand consultancy in New Delhi, India. Brands of Desire will offer branding and design solutions from India and Europe and Brand Dialogue will focus on education and research in branding and design with programs such as the Master Class on Branding and Design Innovation.

INDEX: Award for The Ocean Cleanup

The Ocean Cleanup, brainchild of Dutch engineering student Boyan Slat, was awarded an INDEX: Award worth 100.000 euros yesterday in Helsingør, Denmark. The prize money will be used to deploy the static cleanup installation in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch  by 2020.

Two countries in a box

Packaging for the South Korean and Dutch nations. That is what Dutch design agency Studio Kluif made on invitation of the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sport & Tourism. To celebrate a new South Korean government identity system, the Ministry invited fifty design companies from all over the world to design two works, representing in turn the identity of their own country and a graphic interpretation of Korea.

Two great performances from 'The New Dutch Academy' in Turkey

An international award winning Dutch Baroque orchestra, 'The New Dutch Academy' (NDA), met with the Turkish music lovers in two major cities of Turkey in the first week of June, 2015.  The NDA performed two great concerts with the title of "Bach and his Dutch Contemporaries" first in the Erimtan Archaeology and Arts Museum in the capital city, Ankara, and then gave a special 'breakfast concert' at the Garden of the Consulate General of Netherlands in Istanbul as part of the 43rd Istanbul Music Festival organised by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV).

Dutch Design Awards Finalists announced

12/06/2015

The organization of the Dutch Design Awards announced the finalists for the 13th edition. In total 28 projects have a chance to win one of six Dutch Design Awards on Saturday, October 24th during the Dutch Design Week. Three selection committees compiled the shortlist out of 380 submissions. An international jury will appoint the winners to be announced during Dutch Design Week in October 2015.
